Faster than zone 3 (135 bpm range) and you stop burning fat and your muscles switch to glucogen storage (sugar).
Medical science now believes hard walking, although doesn’t get you as fit, burns fat faster than a hard run.
Go science! My fitness isn’t there yet, so I mix zone 2,3 and 4.
